VOLO, Ill. (FOX 32 News) -

One week after his estranged wife went missing with their two daughters, Dan Marsek has broken his silence at a vigil attended by family and friends.

"I just want to take a moment to thank all our friends and family that have assisted us in handing out the fliers and the donations and the fliers that we have received. I also want to thank the law enforcement officers, the fire departments, special team units, the truck drivers, the daily commuters and all the other agencies that I have not mentioned and the tips to bring my family home," said Marsek.

Thirty three-year-old Aneta Marsek vanished after leaving her parents' Wauconda home and hasn't been seen since. Her 2 year old daughter Chevelle and 4 month old daughter Macenzie are with her. Dan Marsek reported them missing on Wednesday and after thanking the community for their help in the search, made a public plea to his family Saturday night but took no questions from the media.

"Aneta if you can see this, the whole family misses you and loves you. I want you home, I love you, I miss you. Chevelle, Macenzie, daddy loves you too - thank you. That's it, that's it, we're done," said Marsek.

About 50 people gathered outside Marsek's Volo home for the gathering where they lit candles and prayed for Marsek's safe return.

"A lot of heavy hearts and a lot of crying and she's got to come home, bring those kids home," said Reverend Scott Keenan.

Dan Marsek reportedly filed a restraining order against his wife after she went missing. Aneta Marsek filed for divorce four months ago. The Fox Lake Fire Department's dive team has spent Friday and Saturday mornings searching nearby lakes and retention ponds but still no sign of the missing mother and two young girls.

The family's pastor says he's spent time praying with the family in their time of need.

"Encourage them through prayer and through the word of God that we get through this, we get through this together, through God's help," said Keenan.

"Aneta we love you and we want you home. If anybody knows anything, please help my daughter-in-law come home," said Nancy Marsek, Aneta Marsek's mother-in-law.
