A woman was robbed of her car, cell phone and purse while driving into a garage in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side Thursday night.
The 24-year-old woman was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer into a garage in the 5400 block of West Wrightwood Avenue at 9:45 p.m. when two men in their 20s wearing dark hoodies approached, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
One of the men was armed with a gun and both men fled in her vehicle through the alley after also stealing her purse and cell, Greer said.
