CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

More college football games could be played at Wrigley Field, thanks to the approval to move up the brick wall behind home plate.

There will now be enough room to properly fit a football field, without having teams play in one direction as was this case in this 2010 game between Northwestern and Illinois.

According to Crain's Chicago Business, that has a few schools are very interested, including both the University of Illinois and Northwestern. Crain's also reports that Notre Dame could also be interested in making an appearance in Wrigleyville.

Meantime, the Cubs say they hope to attract both college and pro football games in the coming years.
