US Supreme Court reviews affirmative action

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The US Supreme Court is taking up a case that could change affirmative action in America by deciding how much of a factor race should be in college admissions.

The case was brought by a student who says she was denied admission to the University of Texas because she's white.

Reverend Jesse Jackson was among those outside the Supreme Court Wednesday.

The Court upheld affirmative action as a way to diversify college campuses in 2003.
