A west suburban teen was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a house in Glen Ellyn Monday night.
Anne Page, 17, of Glen Ellyn, was driving northbound on Park Boulevard when she attempted to turn left on Pershing Avenue and lost control of the car, according to a release from the Glen Ellyn Police Department.
The car left the road and hit the house on the northwest corner of the intersection, according to the release.
Page and most of the passengers left the scene, but were found a short time later, the release said. Two passengers in the car were taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with non-life-threatening injuries.
No one inside the home was hurt, according to the release.
Page had allegedly been drinking and was charged with DUI, the release said. She was also cited for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and making an improper turn.
