Fox Chicago Sunday: Reporter’s Notebook: 8th grader Jack Mcgraw

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
For most of the players on the field it was just a routine play, but for one 8th grader in St. Charles, it was the move of a lifetime.
13-year-old Jack Mcgraw has cerebral palsy and is confined to this wheelchair, but he had a moment in the game that had players and fans on both sides cheering and crying.
In two years, Jack hasn't missed a practice or a game and this season, the team, The Haines Hurricanes, are they're undefeated.
It was Wednesday evening the score was 29 to zero when the quarterback handed the ball to Coach Masoncup and Jack, helping him into the end zone.
Both teams and fans stood back and let this moment happen. And, a parent on the opposing team shot the footage.
Jack says it was a moment he'll never forget. His mom said what happened on the field is so much bigger than the game because her son has always wanted to play sports like all the other teens. On that field of dreams, he was!
