
A few light showers south of Chicago early this evening, but most of Chicago will be chilly and dry.
Skies will gradually clear tonight allowing low temperatures to drop into the lower and middle 30s.
There are Freeze Warnings for McHenry, Kane, Kendall, Boone, De Kalb, and La Salle counties until 8:00am Saturday.
It gets even colder this weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 50s and nights in the upper 20s and mid 30s.
Warmer weather returns on Columbus Day with highs around 60.

Wednesday: Partly sunny and colder. Highs: 55-60 Lows: 35-40
Thursday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Highs: 58-63 Lows: 37-42
Friday: Mostly sunny and continued cool. Highs: 55-60 Lows: 35-40
