Three arrested on guns, weapons charges in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Three north suburban residents were charged Thursday with possession of firearms and drug charges.
Sheriff's police executed a search warrant in the 9900 block of McConnell Road in unincorporated Woodstock Thursday and recovered an Uzi 9mm semi-automatic pistol, .25 caliber pistol, .38 caliber revolver, .22 caliber revolver, numerous rounds of ammunition, a digital scale, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and 3.5 grams of cannabis, according to a release from the McHenry County Sheriff's office.
McHenry County Animal Control also responded and removed two pit bulls from the residence, according to police.
Lee Modesto Cruz, 27, of the 9900 block of McConnell Road, is facing three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon, possession of certain dogs by a felon, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, sheriff's police said.
Kevin M. Riley, 31, of the same address, is facing two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of cannabis, and violation of parole, the release said.
Colleen M. Loud, 22, also of the same addres, is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, sheriff's police said.
A fourth person was detained, but was released later, according to the release.
