A driver was hurt when a car flipped onto its side after hitting another vehicle in a west suburban Glen Ellyn intersection Tuesday.
The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Park Boulevard and Sheehan Avenue, Glen Ellyn police said in a release.
One car rear-ended another, then veered away and rolled onto its side, the release said. Its driver had to be extricated, and paramedics took the person to an area hospital.
The car ended up near the middle of the intersection, lying on its left side with nearly its entire front windshield broken out.
The other driver was not hurt and no one was cited for the crash, which remains under investigation, the release said.
