Police seek driver, vehicle that struck black lab in Oswego

OSWEGO, Ill (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are seeking information about a vehicle that struck a dog in west suburban Oswego.

A vehicle struck the two-and-a-half-year-old black Labrador retriever after it wandered onto southbound U.S. 30 near Wolf Road about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's office.

The vehicle is believed to be a black Chrysler with front end damage, the release said.

Anyone with information should call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at (630) 553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
