Good Day Chicago traffic reporter extraordinaire Sondra Solarte gave birth to Grace Lucia on Monday, October 1.

Baby Grace weighs 8 lbs., 3 oz. and is 20 inches long. Sondra gave birth just before 7 p.m. Monday night.

Sondra and her husband Jim could not be happier. She is doing well.

The entire FOX Chicago News team wishes Sondra all the best as she spends some quality time with her new family.
