PARK FOREST, Ind. (FOX 32 News) -

October is national bullying prevention awareness month - and kids in the Chicago area are taking the pledge to not bully other students.

An Indiana elementary school in Park Forest held an outdoor rally at 10:45 Monday morning for "Stomp Out Bullying Day."

All 420 4th-6th graders are supposed to wear blue to show their solidarity on Monday.

After taking the pledge, they symbolically stomped out bullying by jumping on balloons and breaking them with their feet.
