High pressure will deliver a sunny and dry day on Monday with highs near 70.
A series of cold fronts will pass Chicago this week and bring rain chances on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Cool air arrives again at the end of the week as temperatures drop from the 70s on Wednesday to the 50s by Friday and through the weekend.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 71 and lows near 50.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with a 30% chance of rain. Highs near 69 and lows near 54.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 78 and lows near 56.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy and breezy with a 40% chance of rain. Highs near 70 and lows near 49.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy, breezy and chilly with a 30% chance of rain. Highs near 56 and lows near 40.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and chilly with highs near 54 and lows near 37.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly with highs near 54 and lows near 46.
