No deal after Evergreen Park contract talks, teachers may still strike

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

They have tried to compromise. But after Wednesday's negotiations, Evergreen Park teachers said they still might strike.

The teachers' union and School District 124 officials negotiated well into Wednesday night, but did not reach a deal.

The issues of contention include pay, benefits and bonuses tied to student performance.

Teachers have set Tuesday as their tentative strike date.
