Reward for information on police horse attack up to $6,000

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The reward is now up to $6,000 for anyone who knows who broke into the Chicago police-horse stables, and injured the horses.

The incident took place ten days ago, on or around September 16.

Someone broke into the stables at the South Shore Cultural Center and attacked the horses with fire extinguishers. They let horses out of the stalls, and used some type of instrument to cut the horses.

Investigators urge anyone with information to contact Chicago police.
