CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man was found dead on the platform of a CTA Blue Line Station early Tuesday.

The man was found unresponsive at 1:43 a.m. at the Harlem Station in the 5500 block of North Harlem Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

The passenger -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as 43-year-old Ronnie Scott -- was found on the platform of the station, according to CTA spokesperson Catherine Hosinski.

An autopsy by the medical examiner's office concluded Scott died from bronchial asthma and the death was ruled natural.

North bound Blue Line trains bypassed the station while southbound trains continued normal service, Hosinski said.
