Man stabbed in Chatham

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man was stabbed Sunday in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

The victim was stabbed on the street in the 8100 block of South Drexel Avenue about 11:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.

The man in his 20s was hospitalized at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a stab wound to the shoulder, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.

The stabbing was possibly domestic-related, Mirabelli said.

No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
