CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Barack Obama and Mitt Romney face off against each other Wednesday, October 3rd at 8 p.m. central time in the first of three 90 minute debates.
The vice presidential debate is Thursday, October 11th, followed by the final two presidential debates October 16th and 22nd.
But the debate that's creating the most buzz right now is the one that doesn't involve the candidates.
Fox News channel's Bill O'Reilly and Comedy Central's Jon Stewart will go at each other October 6th at George Washington University. The debate will be streamed live on-line. It'll cost $4.95 to see it and proceeds go to charities.
"The Rumble in the Air-conditioned Auditorium" as they're calling it, will come four days after Glenn Beck debates Eliot Spitzer live on Facebook.
All this got me to thinking----who else would we like to see catching this debate fever?
How about: Mayor Emanuel and Karen Lewis? Ozzie Guillen and Kenny Williams? Roe Conn and Garry Meier? David Letterman and Donald Trump? Madonna and Lady Gaga?
I even get to be in the middle of one next month in Chicago moderating a James Carville and Dennis Miller debate.
I'm sure you have a few ideas for fun debate pairings. You can post those on the "One More Thing" Facebook page: facebook.com/bobsirottomt
