CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Chicago police officer wound up on the wrong side of the law Tuesday.

Police said the officer was arrested, and accused of taking a bribe to fix a traffic case.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the 18-year veteran officer was picked up by investigators at a fast-food restaurant Tuesday morning.

The officer is assigned to the Southwest Side's Ogden District where he trains rookie cops.

There's no other information on the case right now, but Internal Affairs continues to investigate.

The officer has not been charged with a crime.
