Youth Inventor Challenge comes to Navy Pier for Chicago Toy and Game Fair

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

If you know a kid who's ready to become the next great game inventor, send them to Navy Pier this fall. The Young Inventor Challenge is coming to town.

The Chicago Toy and Game Fair hosts a youth challenge every year, and some of those creations are featured at the Cat and Mouse Game Store in Bucktown.

Simon Shifrin and Grace Turner showcased their innovative games for Good Day Chicago on Tuesday, live from Cat and Mouse.

If you have a board game or toy that's ready to take Chicago by storm, take a leaf out of Simon and Grace's book and step right up!

One of the organizers said past inventors have taken their games and toys to market, and that our city takes in more royalties for original toy and game inventions that any other in the nation.

The fair takes place Nov. 17 and 18 at Navy Pier.
