Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

It has been roughly four months since Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose had surgery to repair his torn ACL.

He's well on his way on the road to recovery, rehabbing five times a week, shooting now and even jumping a little bit.

Rose's first media appearance since his surgery showcased his newest shoe and apparel line.

But when the topic switched to his injury and rehab, the emotion of watching a video of his injury, the CTU strike and support from the fans overwhelmed the kid from Englewood.

Watch the video above to experience his words for yourself.
