Chicago police fire at suspect on South Side

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE: Chicago police officers shot a man on the city's South Side Thursday.

Police said they were trying to stop a van near 75th and Michigan, when a man jumped out and ran.

He pointed his gun at officers, who said they were forced to shoot.

The man was hit in the arm. No officers were hurt.

No charges have been filed.
