The next step for Drew Peterson will be his post-trial motion where the judge could overturn the verdict, order a new trial or deny it all together.
Until then, Drew Peterson is going to spend the rest of his days inside a jail cell.
"I think there's a bigger picture here. I think that Kathy and Stacy and the likes of them who are constantly under the hands of abusers like Drew Peterson have had their day today," says Stacy Peterson's family spokesperson.

Drew Peterson will spend the next few months in the Will County Jail awaiting his sentencing on November 26th.
He faces up to 60-years in prison but his defense attorneys plan to appeal.
FOX Chicago News asked Legal Analyst Karen Conti whether Peterson stands a chance at an appeal.

"He might. There really was no hard evidence," Conti says. "There is nothing tying him to the scene, there was no way of the jury knowing how, if he killed her, how he killed her. And it was really based upon hearsay."
The disappearance of Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, prompted investigators to look into Kathleen Savio's murder.
Now, Stacy's family hopes this conviction will return the favor.
"Stacy's case is next. No matter what, he still has to pay the price for Stacy and I still believe that's around the corner," says Bosco.

Fresh off this victory, Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow says he will eventually look into Stacy's case.
"Obviously the longer any person is gone, the easier it is to prove that they haven't just simply run away and that they are deceased," Glasgow says. "And October 28th of 2007 is way in our rear view mirror now. So, we're going to look at that case and assess it as it stands today."
Glasgow says once he reviews Stacy Peterson's case, if he feels confident he can go forward, he will.
He will look for a way to potentially charge Drew Peterson in Stacy's case, but there is no timetable as to when that could happen.
