CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Bolingbrook neighborhood where Drew Peterson lived has been dealing with the media spotlight since Stacy Peterson's disappearance back in 2007.

Peterson's former neighbors are reacting to the guilty verdict but Drew's oldest son, Stephen, who lives inside Drew's home, is not. Stephen lives there with his four younger step-siblings that he has raised since his father was imprisoned.

But, Peterson's next door neighbor, Sharon Bychowski, had plenty to say.

"It's a great day, a great day for justice for Kathleen's family and for Kathleen herself," Sharon said. "It's been a long time coming for her family and I know they have just kept the faith for her and I'm just real pleased with the verdict, very pleased."

Bychowski hopes the guilty verdict in the Savio murder trial will renew interest in finding justice for Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, who vanished in 2007.

"Drew, your show is over now tell us where is Stacy," Bychowski said.

Peterson's children could be seen moving around inside the home, at times peeking out windows while neighbors spoke privately among themselves - less than a handful willing to share their reaction with the media.

"I think he almost got away with it and what do I think about the verdict? Who knows?" said Neighbor Monty Jackson. "I think he's pretty smart, he was a cop and he knew how to play the systems."

Peterson's children arrived home from school via escort by school district officials. A lone police officer has been patrolling the neighborhood since the verdict came down.
