Fashionistas have been buzzing for weeks about what first lady Michelle Obama would wear to the Democratic National Convention Tuesday.

She took the stage in a custom pink Tracy Reese dress, complete with a gorgeous feminine flowered pattern. The Detroit designer is known for her pretty prints and darling details and has dressed the first lady previously on the campaign trail and for the 2012 president's dinner.

The designer herself tweeted: "So honored @MichelleObama is wearing @Tracy_Reese for tonight's speech #DNC2012"

Project Runway mentor and fashion design guru Tim Gunn tweeted: "Congratulations to @MichelleObama on a fabulous speech last night, and to @Tracy_Reese for making her appropriately glorious dress!"

Celebrity stylist Carson Kressley tweeted: "I love that @MichelleObama was a dress made in the u-s-a by Tracy Reese at the DNC last night."

In an Inside Edition interview Tuesday afternoon, Obama said she hadn't yet picked her outfit, but that she had plenty to choose from.

"I've got options (but) obviously I didn't bring the whole closet; I've got a few things," she told Debra Norville. "I'm going to put stuff on and see how I feel…that's how I do things."

On Monday, Michelle did a walk-through of the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina, sporting a mint, tan, and white graphic print dress with black and white pumps.

The last time she delivered a DNC speech back in 2008, Mrs. Obama wore a teal sheath by Chicago-based designer Mario Pinto, paired with accessories from Erickson Beamon and Moschino.
