BP begins paying out some of 6,500 claims due to bad gas

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
BP said it has started to pay out some of the 6,500 claims it has received for damage caused by contaminated gas sold in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
Two class action lawsuits have been filed against the company, claiming BP is not offering enough to pay for all the damage.
The suits claim repair bills from the bad gas cost $1,000 or more in some cases.
