A man was in critical condition after divers from the Chicago Fire Department pulled him out of the Chicago River near the Old Town neighborhood Friday night.
The man was pulled out of the river near the 900 block of North Kingsbury Street, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The 26-year-old was stepping off a rented boat onto the dock when he slipped and hit his head, falling into the water, police said.
Paramedics took the man in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Fire Media Affairs said.
