Summer of 2012 marks third hottest in Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

No surprise that we have been abnormally warm, make that hot this summer in Chicago.

As of Tuesday we are officially the third hottest on record behind 1995 and 1955.

Meteorological summer begins on June 1 and ends on Aug. 31. We are expecting more above normal temperatures the end of this week.
