CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

General Motors and Isuzu are recalling 258,000 midsize SUVs over a potential fire hazard.

The recall affects Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Isuzu Ascender, and Saab 97X SUVs from 2006 and 2007.

The manufacturers said short-circuits in the window and door lock switches can cause fires.

Twenty-eight fires have been reported but there were no related crashes or injuries.
