MARIETTA, Ga. -

A 31-year-old Atlanta man was arrested Sunday morning after police say he broke into a Cobb County bank.

According to a spokesperson with the Cobb County Police Department, officers responded to the Wells Fargo Bank in the 2600 block of Windy Hill Road around 3:19 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report that the bank's alarm was sounding. Officers check around the building, but found it to be secure.

An hour later, officers again were alerted to the bank's alarm sounding. Surveillance video showed someone might be inside the bank. The SWAT unit was called out and was allowed in the bank by a bank manager. They eventually found the burglar and took him into custody.

FOX 5 cameras were the only ones at the scene as members of the SWAT team took the man from the bank and into custody. The man has not been identified by police.
