1976 remake "Sparkle" hits theatres

The 1976 remake "Sparkle" staring Jordan Sparks is out in theatres this weekend. There are several big stars in the new flick, including the City of Detroit.

Jordan Sparks was in Royal Oak recently for a special premier at the Emagine Theatre.

Film crews were in Motown shooting the movie between May 23rd and November 4th of 2011. You may recognize some Detroit landmarks from the movie, including:

  • Cliff Bells
