CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

In Hyde Park at the corner of 53rd and Dorchester, a plaque now marks the spot of a famous kiss.

It was on this corner in 1989 that President Obama and Michelle Obama kissed for the first time, after getting some ice cream at a Baskin Robbins that no longer exists.

The plaque, which was paid for by the owners of the shopping center, includes a quote from the president: "I kissed her, and it tasted like chocolate."

The Obamas' met at a Chicago law firm and will celebrate their 20th anniversary this November.
