Morse Red Line station re-opened

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

 TheCTA showed off another of its sparkling station renovations today.

Mayor Emanuelhelped re-open the Morse Red Line station. The line, which was originally builtin 1908, now has upgraded lighting and displays, better protection from weather,and a concession area. It's one of seven red line stops to get a total rehab.

CTA ridership is up4% over last year and Mayor Emanuel says investing in station improvements willcontinue that trend.
