Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Wednesday morning's clouds will give way to partly sunny skies by afternoon. Scattered showers are possible overnight ahead of a cold front to our west.

On Thursday scattered showers and isolated gusty storms are possible followed by a large cool down to 70 on Friday.

The weekend ahead looks dry and comfortable with highs in the 70s. Great if you are headed out to the Air and Water Show, the Arlington Million and the Bears game (which you can watch Saturday evening right here on Fox Chicago).

WEDNESDAY: Morning clouds and afternoon partly sunny with a chance of showers overnight. Highs near 85 and lows near 68.

THURSDAY: Increasing clouds with scattered showers and a gusty storm possible. Highs near 82 and lows near 58.

FRIDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 70 inland and 60s by the Lake with lows near 53 close to the Lake and 40s far inland.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 75 and lows near 55.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 76 and lows near 54.
