"This young man got caught up with something and it had nothing to do with him," says Lajuana Jackson. "I can't even sleep because I want to know -- I want to know who shot my son."

The mother of 19-year-old Marcus Andrews is out on the street searching for answers and justice. Someone opened fire Thursday on her son's Grand Marquis, likely with an AK 47, killing Marcus who was also known as "Sweety" and 17-year-old Tashana Kalka. Kalka's mother tells Fox 2 her daughter was being stalked by a violent and jealous ex-boyfriend.

Marcus's family says he and Tashana were not romantically involved. They're not even sure how or when the two met or why she was in the car. All they care about now is catching the person responsible.

"I need to know and people out here know what's going on," said Jackson. "Somebody know, come on now, this is Detroit. You didn't have to shoot him down like that in his car, over a girl, are you serious? Who does that?"

"I need justice," she continued. "I want peace but I'll never have peace again, this is my baby boy, that was my Sweety, I'll never have peace again."

Anyone with information should call Detroit police or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP (1-800-773-2587)
