Authorities are looking for the person who set three vehicles on fire early Monday in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.
An unidentified person started the fire about 5 a.m. Monday in the driveway of a home in the 0-100 block of Talcott Drive in Crystal Lake, according to a release from the Crystal Lake Crime Stoppers.
While emergency personnel were on the scene, vehicle fires started in driveways of a homes on the 0-100 block of Talcott Drive and the 600 block of Primrose Lane in Crystal Lake, the release said.
All three fires caused "significant" property damage, the release said. Nobody was injured.
Anyone with information about the fires should call (800) 762-STOP or anonymously text to TIP411 with the keyword TIPCLPD within the text. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist.
