Over the next few days, both President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Chicago.
Mr. Obama will celebrate his 51st birthday at his home in Kenwood on Saturday, August 11. (His birthday is Aug. 4.) Although obviously some big-time donors will be there, the campaign is also offering spots on the guest list to supporters who have entered a contest by donating as little as $3.
Meanwhile, the Romney campaign is holding two fundraisers in Chicago on Tuesday. Crain's Chicago Business said that the events will be held at Near Northside restaurants and tickets start at $5,000.
