DJ MOORE #30 Cornerback

DOB: 3/22/87

5'9", 180 lbs.

4th season / Vanderbilt

Bio - Moore's previous three seasons have been spent with the Bears, and so far, he has gathered 104 tackles (72 solo), 8 interceptions, 1 sack, 11 PBUs, 3 TFLs, and one forced fumble. Moore is one of nine Bears in history to return an interception for a touchdown in back-to-back seasons and made his first career start in the Bears' 2011 NFC Divisional Game win against Seattle. Along with 4 interceptions and 8 PBUs in 2011, Moore also had 60 defensive tackles and 5 special teams stops. His 8 interceptions over the past two seasons is tied for first on the Bears and twelfth in the NFL.

Lou CanellisLou's Call – Despite missing 3 games in 2011 because of a sprained ankle, Moore still led the team with 4 interceptions and was tied for 2nd with 8 pass breakups. Lovie LOVES play makers in his secondary and Moore's done a nice job filling the nickel role in the defense.

Tom WaddleTom's Take – DJ isn't big, but he's good. Perfectly suited as a nickel back, DJ has a knack for big plays and is a sure tackler. He is a difference maker in the role they ask him to play

Dionne MillerDionne's View – A true difference maker at nickel back. He makes tackles, pressures the QB, and is always around the ball. Been mentioned as the best tackler in the secondary. Entering a contract year, so again, expect another season of big time performance.
