A West Side man was shot and killed Monday night by a man who was riding a bicycle.
Police say 39-year-old Curtis Brown was shot in the head and chest in the 300 block of North Latrobe Avenue in the Austin neighborhood. The shooter rode away.
Brown was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:44 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
He also lived in the 300 block of North Latrobe Avenue, the medical examiner's office said.
Area North detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody.
