A woman said she shot and killed a man who allegedly abducted and raped her in Clayton County.
The woman told police that she was abducted from her Cobb County home late Sunday night and taken to a home on Kirk Drive in College Park.
Police said the woman somehow got a gun and shot the man several times, killing the suspect. The suspect's name was not released.
Authorities would not say how the woman got the gun or who it belonged to.
Neighbors said the man that lived at the home was a renter. They said they hadn't seen him on a regular basis. Over the past several weeks, they said they saw him stop in every couple of days to feed his dogs.
They also said they saw police take away a car from the home along with two pit bulls.
Police are trying to figure out if the woman knew the man who assaulted her.
