Young teen shot in Englewood

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE: A young teenage boy is in serious condition after he was shot Thursday night on the South Side.

The boy was shot in the shoulder and stomach at around 11 p.m. near 67th and Carpenter in the Englewood neighborhood.

Fire officials said the boy is either 14 or 15 years old.

He was taken to University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition, Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.
