FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -

The Atlanta Falcons hit the field on Thursday to begin their first full day of training camp. The players began filing in to the team's headquarters in Flowery Branch on Wednesday.

They'll prepare to try and unseat the New Orleans Saints as top dogs in the NFC South, and extend their run of playoff appearances to four straight years.

Most 3:30 p.m. practice sessions through August 5 are open to the public. The Falcons will have a combined practice with the Tennessee Titans on Monday, August 6, at Coahulla Creek High School in Dalton. That session runs from 4:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and is open to the public.

The first pre-season game is August 9 against Baltimore. The regular season opener is September 9 in Kansas City.
