LITHONIA, Ga. -

DeKalb County police say a woman slammed her vehicle through an apartment early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at the Cambridge Drive Apartments on Hillendale Drive in Lithonia. Rikina Morris, who lives in the apartment, says the car went straight through her 7-year-old son's room, throwing debris all over the room.

Morris says she was sleeping at the time when she heard a bunch of glass shattering. She went to look out the window, and saw people get out of the car. She thought someone was breaking into her apartment.

"When I walked back, my whole front room was pushed in. My son would have been in his bed. He would have been...I don't know," said Rikina Morris. Her son was staying at his grandmother's house when the crash occurred.

Police arrested 25-year-old Ciera Haines on DUI charges. Morris said that Haines is one of her neighbors.

Police say no one was hurt, and the incident is under investigation.
