Aurora police are investigating a Good Samaritan deed gone wrong.
Mike Stapleton and Susan Kendall lost their house to foreclosure, and had to move to Kansas.
They were not able to move everything from their house in one trip.
Police say their neighbors apparently tried to help out by cleaning up but somehow, about $3,000 worth of gardening supplies and heirlooms went missing.
Some items have been returned, but most are still missing.
