No one was injured when an explosion leveled a home in the south suburb of Manhattan Thursday.
A woman was home at the time of the blast which occurred at about 10:47 a.m. at 25851 Redstone Drive.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
FOX Chicago News spoke to the homeowner just before she was discovered. He says he believed she was at the house but had to get off the phone to check on her welfare.
Manhattan, Ill. is about 50 miles southwest of Chicago.
