Warning issued for series of Lincoln Park armed robberies

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
A warning has been issued due to a series of frightening robberies in Lincoln Park.
At least seven people have been robbed at gunpoint in the North Side neighborhood this summer.
Police said a group of robbers holds people up on their way home from restaurants and bars late at night, and taking cell phones, wallets and other valuables.
At least six armed robberies have been reported in the area since June 9.
