CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Two employees at the Cook County Board of Review are accused of taking bribes to help homeowners get lower property tax assessments.

Thomas Hawkins and Johan Racasi were in court Wednesday.

Prosecutors said the two took $1,500 in bribes, and then told the board of review to grant lower assessments to three properties.

More arrests are expected in the investigation. The Board of Review said it will cooperate.

Hawkins and Racasi have been suspended without pay.
