Chicago area radio station FM 101.1 is going back to the music.
The station's owner Merlin Media pulled the plug on "FM News 101" Tuesday, less than a year after turning the station into an all-news station, and laid off a lot of staff members.
The station got only 0.03 of a percent of the Chicago market share last month.
