Back in 1980, Tom Moore opened the doors to a small surf shop in Newport Beach, CA, called Pacific Sunwear. Ever since, Pacific Sunwear has been dedicated to embracing the energy and ambition of our youth, capturing the essence of the ever-evolving California culture, generation after generation.

STORE MANAGER:

Success in our Store Manager position entails being able to lead a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location. We define this success as being able to inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors-including our Customer First Selling Model, and ensuring the execution of the Store's Plan to Win. Store Managers also must hold store employees accountable to following all policies and procedures, aim to meet business sales goals, create a captivating customer experience, and retain fantastic talent. This person reports directly to the District Manager and does at times have contact with corporate office employees. Individuals who have been most successful in this role, have had 2+ years of apparel retail experience, a pro-active mindset, the ability to communicate effectively, and a four year college degree.
