Cubs, White Sox play two less games in Crosstown Classic next year

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

There may be some changes coming to Chicago's beloved Crosstown Classic.

The number of games between the Cubs and the Sox in most years is likely to be reduced from six to four.

The changes come as a result of the Houston Astros moving to the American League next year, when both the American League and National League will each have 15 teams.

That means inter-league games will take place every day next season.
